Annual means one key per year. Pinchy validates licenses offline and never phones home, so monthly self-hosted licensing would mean pasting a fresh key every month. We'd rather keep activation boring. The free trial plus the 30-day money-back guarantee give you roughly 60 risk-free days before you commit to a year.
Your key includes a 30-day grace period after the paid year ends. After that, management of the gated team features locks, but nothing is deleted: your agents keep running, your configuration is preserved, and a new key reactivates everything instantly. Details in the docs.
No. Pinchy sends nothing home: no telemetry, no license server, no tracking inside the product. The only data we ever see is what you choose to send us.
A seat is an active user account. Your license includes grace headroom of 20 percent, so a new hire never waits on procurement. Beyond that, new invitations pause until you upgrade or free a seat. Existing users never lose access, and nothing is ever deactivated automatically.
Yes. All code is public under AGPL-3.0, including the gated features. You can read every line before you run it. The license key unlocks the team governance features and funds development.
